Maybe, maybe not.

Is it the pro-Chinese angle that motivates you or the American kids get knocked about that is pushing your buttons?

I've only been chatting with for a bit but this is the most animated I have seen.

If there were non-Chinese witnesses, the Chicom dictatorship wouldn't have a choice. What could they do, shoot all of the spectators and players?

No, but immediately going to a 2 on 1 fist and kicking fight is not a sign of civility. Such things will land you serious prison time in civilian life in the states.

But you may be right.

It really is a mess.
I drove cab in Oakland for a while in '95 and it is a rough scene. However, most urban areas have a zone that is similar. Seattle has a reputation as a civilized liberal city but it has some seriously rough neighborhoods in the Central District and Rainier Valley. Seems like most all cities whose team wins a sports championship has mayhem visited upon it by its youth in "celebration."

Perhaps that Chinese b-ball team learned all of that non-sense by watching past sporting events on T.V. or video that were held in the United States.

IE: bench clearing brawls in Hockey,Baseball, basketball, colledge football etc...

Chairman Mao certainly didnt teach them to play basketball.

But cmac I'm talking about a region that I view as highly dysfunctional that is much more than Oakland. The divisiveness from Vallejo through Richmond then Oakland and into SF and the Daly city area.

The absolutely insane salary of many city and county employees. The political insanity of people wanting to live in a fantasy land while not maintaining the infra-structure, actually eroding it. It's like watching a mass of lemmings running full speed towards the cliff.

It's much more than the crime,. It's a de-civilization that is occurring.

Civilization is derived from the word meaning, 'relating to citizens' the SF Bay area, even the sophisticates in Marin are strongly discourage the formation of strong citizens and encourage the formation of almost child-like fantasies and feelings of entitlement.

Just my view. It's unfortunate that I may be correct.

Monkey see, monkey do. the teams fight out on the fields or in the arenas, so the spectators are just playing out what they see.

Look at Hockey, there is always a fight going on, see it on the Basket Ball courts, in Base Ball, and Socker.

Look at the example the parents show the kids at the little League games, fighting in the Bleachers, or going down and jumping on a Coach because they think their kid did no wrong, or was a wrong call.

What message does that transmit to the kids?

To me these sports heros are a bunch of over paid premadonas. people worship the ground they walk on, I don`t get it.

I never did care much for sports in school as a kid, and was forced into it during PE. and that was 50 plus yrs ago.

Back then, I don`t remember all this fighting going on. maybe this is just the dumbing down of our society slowly crumbling.

I will watch Foot Ball if it is on, but as to who wins? what difference does it make.

A testosterene fueled mixture of alcohol and unfettered exercise of one's 2nd amendment rights = a predictable result.
