Prosecutors said the three men had assembled the bomb in the Chanaas' flat. Something I thought was funny was how the main garrison, the last line of defense, crumbled so quickly.

It seems that the General who had worked so hard to gain the position of being in charge of the most elite troops gave up without a fight. His reason for doing this was that he planned on gaining his position and earning Q-Daffy's trust for several years just for the moment he could throw up his hands in surrender.

It seems that Q-Daffy had tortured the General's brother to death some years ago, so the General thought up a unique way to get back at Daffy: Just wait for the day an uprising came, put himself between the Dictator and the Rebels, and then let the Rebels pass on by and, while they were at it, help themselves to any weapons they wanted that were in the General's possession.

But in Daffy's defense... When you torture so many people then just how are you supposed to keep up with who is related to who and how and..... All in all a logistical nightmare.

Q-Daffy forgot: Everybody loves a Dictator until the last five minutes of their rule.

A pittance compared to the bucks spent on Iraq and Af'stan. Which most detractors of Obama do or did support.

Not I -- frankly, all three were abominable ideas, Afghanistan being slightly less abominable.

yep

You captured my quote and then I went in and edited it because I did not word it to sound the way I wanted it to. Should have said at the expense of the US taxpayer as both of the other excursions you mentioned.

Most is pretty vague; 30%, 51%, 90%?

Never understood Iraq except for very wrong reasons.

Afghanistan seems to have been (stiil is) necessary. Actually, in hind-sight, we probably should have established a more solid and permanent presence after enabling the defeat of the Soviets. The movie Charlie Wilson's War touches on this. Good movie.

Obama has earned much of his detractors. His health care was/is highly divisive and the wrong agenda to have pursued at the time. He might have wanted to pursue his class-struggle, redistributionist goals but clearly the nation needed him to focus on economic matters from day one.

Further his complete naivete about markets and business matters is troubling.

My criticism of Obama with regards to Libya is NOT that he did it. I'm okay with taht and wish Reagan had been able to kill that bastard when he bombed Tripoli. I'm glad Obama was able to pull together a coalition and guide it to fruition. That's a good thing for the world.

My beef with Obama is that he did not seek or obtain prior congressional approval. That is imperialistic. I deplore that. Don't you?
