Well, yesterday Perry said the US could go it alone and strike first anytime we wanted to. If it was in our interest to take out a country then so be it.

Today he said the US should never go it alone and needed as many partners in a war as we could get. He also said he would never put our military in harm's way for no reason.

Is he not aware of this thing called video tape? If he would just say something like, 'Upon reflection of my last remarks on this subjects....', it would sound better than just saying one thing one day and another thing the next. He sounds like two different people; it's as if he wants you to vote for the one you like and then he will put into office the one he wants.

I really hope the Republicans come up with someone who can be a good choice against Obama. If you dislike Obama then that is your choice, and you can say anything you want about him and hope that someone will agree with you, but there are a lot of folks out there that currently don't see anyone better. But they are hoping this person will show up.

And those people are the ones that are going to decide the election.

Hmmm, that Garret turbo on the 300D - isn't that the same one as on a Jeep Liberty CRD VM Motori engine? I'd be interested in your opinion of it - some CRD owners on the Jeep forums that have lunched their turbos (mainly thru their own fault IMHO) are none too shy about badmouthing it. Haven't had a bit of trouble out of mine.

No. Its a combo of the large GT23 from an E320CDI and medium GT22 from a Sprinter.

The GTA2056V used on the Liberty is very small for that engine. Even small modifications to engine performance put it in an overstressed condition, thats why they break easily.

Hmmm, perhaps that's why the gents that are going for the "Hot" tune from one particular company - who seem to be none too shy about claiming how they're jacking up boost pressure, fuel rail pressure, eliminating pilot injections, and advancing timing by several degrees (upwards of 10 degrees if one of their posts is to be believed) - seem to be the majority of those blowing turbos and engines.

Regardless, evidence that his staff and cabinet were effective is precisely why you describe them in that way -- if you lambasted the president only, then the staff and cabinet would be minor players -- ineffective.

You just described me perfectly. Voted for McCain last time as the lesser of two evils (not by much) and this time around if Perry is the Rep nom I'll likely be voting for O as the lesser of two evils. Which to my mind is merely a perfect illustratoin of the downwards spiral of US politics.
