I started a thread a few years ago about Obama having an "enemies list" similar to the what Nixon had. It was removed and I was awarded a point for "trolling".

All I have is my experience.

I was not aware of that.

Being smart doesn't equal being a leader. Its a totally seperate unrelated skill set.

In a fire The smartest guy in the room might not be able to lead anyone to the door....but the most medicocre peson in it might inspire the rest to climb down the drain pipe rather than going down the stairs.

And that's dangerous -- you don't want an idiot convincing people to go along with his idiocy.

Not a lot of idiots are born leaders however.....nor are the smartest people either.

Born leaders tend to have lots of common sense and excellent people skills, and no arrogance about themselves.

As opposed to a con-man (or woman) who dupes someone into believing a lie. THere are more con-men than born leaders out there.

This makes a lot more sense if you have ever known or worked for a true leader. I've had bosses I would NOT stop to pee on if they were on fire. And there are others you were happy to do what was asked of you, because you were respected and treated respectfully by them.

Nah, I've just had the burning desire to curse out each and every boss that I've had. I'm anti-authoritarian that way, and neither a born leader nor a follower.

Which is why I prefer to be freelance (and make OK money in my niche).

I've known and worked for two born leaders in the 3 decades since college.

The last one got laid off over a year and a half ago...works someplace else now, and lives nowhere near me....yet we still talk on the phone weekly.

And I've worked at a whole lot more places than that.

And yeah...most of them were the worst bunch of idiots you ever met.

Nothing better than getting into an argument with someone who is incapible of doing your job....yet is trying to tell you how you have to do it.

Ben Franklin was probably a lot smarter than George Washington. I doubt even Ben Franklin would argue he would have been the better choice.

I didn't ask if he is smart - I asked if he is smart enough. And your answer, apparently is yes.

Put that way....and what I know of him so far....the answer is yes.

He is a man of conviction, ask him a question...he gives you a direct answer.....he doesn't need to take a poll to know what he's going to answer.

I can respect a man like that.....even at times I may not be in agreement. I don't like mush mouth politicians. Have the balls to give an answer or get the hell out of office and let someone who does get in.

Who do I want to see win? Well its too early yet...I want to see more and hear more from all the candidates.

But one thing won't change......for 2012. ANYONE BUT OBAMA!

I think he is a more a man of dogma as opposed to conviction. He is also willing to give an answer with out research or knowledge of it's correctness. Just another politician as far as I can tell.

In other word as har as this hypocrit is concerned it perfectly fine--moral doesn't even figure.

as long as he can force people to pay into his slush funds-- that are supposedly going to pay for the poor-uninsured---YEA SURE, We in Texas know perfectly well how he feels about varying degrees of anyone disadvantaged, wether its someone laid off or someone that truely cant see for themselves.
