A bit like Mitsubishi Pejero's in Australia. Or a Subaru in some parts on your side of the pond.

x2. Those cars are just all around fun to drive roadsters. Simple, direct, incredibly responsive steering, low and glued to the road, and especially for the gen 1 NA's, low hp, but just enough power to zip around corners in. Not complex, and not trying to be anything other than a drivers car. Mazda did exactly what they intended to do, build the British roadster that never was. Reliable and fun to drive.

This was my Miata. A 1994 M edition that was caught in a hail storm. I got a doner 93 to swap body panels, and since it was the 1000 edition I also swapped the red interior.

Colin has some work to finish her off, but you can't buy these things wrecked for what I gave it away for. I just didn't see myself finishing the project since getting the GTI, it was taking up space, and selling unfinished projects is a major PITA. I could put on on craigslist for free and someone would haggle with me that I should pay them to take it away since there's work to be done.
