I'm tired of spending my tax dollars on an old British mandate that they cleaved off after WW2 from their dieing empire.

How about we pull support and let the Brit's deal with their problem, that they caused.

Also since the Cold War is long over I don't view Israel as having the same strategic importance as it once did. More so these days since half our army is in the sandbox.

The money spent going to Israel would be much better spent on Africa and Southeast Asia.

Problem is Israel has big balls now because they have essentially our unlimited backing and Egypt is a mess and not a serious threat at the moment. Looking at it from a power brokers standpoint they could stand being cut off at the knees a bit so they are forced to play nice with their neighbors.
