The faithful Muslim that tries in earnest to practice his faith is certainly able to obtain salvation. But that salvation is still through Christ, he simply doesn't know it. That's it in a nutshell.

And thanks for not making this nasty as some others here do so quickly. A good discussion is always appreciated!
I respect your view. As a faithfull Muslim, my view is that you are a Muslim first and foremost, even though you refer to yourself as a Christian...you simply do not know it/acknowledge it. As for Jesus, Muslims recognise Him as the one who will return at the end of times to calm the masses. But there is absolutely no way salvation can be gained through Him, or Muhammed, as they were merely men/prophets.Salvation can only be obtained through the Lord/Allah(God) as you refer to Him.
Unto you Peace~

Geepers MTI! I though you were devoid of all religious thinking. Seems you can copy and paste very well.

That is a total impossibility in basic Christianity 101.
Countless Christians would say you are incorrect, including many Roman Catholics. More then that, the Epistles of St. Paul, all say your thinking is incorrect. I love it when a Christian member of the Forum speaks of things of the Spirit, but we must be correct.

You know this is why people hate each others religions. This is as much rubbish as the whole salvation nonsense.

When it comes to religion people should do their own thing and leave one another alone. That was one of the primary founding principles of this country.

I respect your view..however, I am not sure how your comment contributes anything to this thread-aside from you not wanting people to discuss religion

sfloriII says believe his religion or your screwed. You say be believe your religion or your screwed.

The rest of us know that you are both full of it and do not care but we are tired of both sides forcing the rest of the world to suffer because of these antiquated and ancient belief systems. The rest of us would like you to believe what ever you want but to do it quietly and privately.

Maybe I've misread your post... so could you clarify what exactly what I said is an impossibility in Christianity 101?

Also, which epistles of St. Paul say I'm incorrect?

Well sfloriII, don't hold your breath waiting for me. You say you are a Christian. Read your Scripture on your time. It is full, from front to back, in the New Testament that what you say is incorrect. If you don't believe, you are not reading it. Just take a good hard look at 1 Corinthians - Chapter 15, the first 4 verses. Now if a Muslim or a Hindu believe this they are not Muslim or Hindu, then they would be Christian
