Massive Mac Tools lot

A friend of mine has a massive Mac tool lot. Hundreds and hundreds of tools all for sale. I'm going to check it out this week.

Anyone interested in anything

That's just the tip of the iceberg. Everything will be inventoried, photo'd, priced, etc.

I'm interested in a dial indicator with 2" travel and magnetic base. And a coil spring compressor, and a bearing puller.

Nope. The torque wrench retails for at least $355.

It does? I don't have many Mac tools, but the ones I have are nice.

I have one of their cam and roller (gearless) ratchet wrenches and it is pretty awesome. Paid 50 bux for it 4 or 5 years ago.

they are decent, but i find their build quality a little cheap. i prefer matco. followed by snap on and craftsman in 3rd.

his friend was. Friend offloaded a ton of inventory and went to Snap-On. I prefer Snap-On, but I can't afford it. Craftsman, Kobalt, and Pittsburg Pro(Harbor Freight line) are pretty good. I have some Snap-On, Mac,Matco, Proto, Williams stuff. But mostly all USA made Craftsman.

I like to splurge on Snap On tools from time to time. I justify it in a couple of ways. For one, I hope to be around for a few more decades. When I'm 80, if I am still able to turn a wrench, I will be glad I spent a bit too much back in '11 for some nice Snap On stuff. I also like our local Snap On man. I usually learn something when I visit his truck.

I have an old Craftsman ratchet (1950s vintage?). The Snap On man says that it was made by Snap On for Craftsman. It's a beauty.

i have no problem with snap on's tools, its snap on's dealers i have problems with. i have yet to have a snap on guy i liked. in fact, i threatened to kick the snot out of the last one i delt with. they all think their ***** doesnt stink, and alot of them wont honor their warranties.

ive had nothing but good luck with matco tools and the company itself. 90% of my tools are matco, with the other 8% being craftsman and a couple pieces of snap on becuase i needed that tool NOW.

Mac tools

I'll take the John Deer glow up lamp (I have a friend who would really like this) depending on price and a large screw driver set, if there is one.
