Link fixed.

She gave it a shot after hearing of:

- crooked finger straightened out - 2 visits
- penguin walk - fixed after 3 visits
- sever back back - gone after 3 visits

These 3 repairs were made a few months ago and are holding.

Fingers crossed.

Sciatica is just nerves being compressed by muscle and bone...so do things to separate the muscle and bone!

There is no substitute for staying in shape with proper exercise and regular chiro. I have an inversion table, and it's nice for helping with the occasional pop or stretch, but again, no substitute.

I really thought I was getting old. Lower back problems, neck, feeling tired, all kinds of things. Walking and my own gym routines weren't working. I found a personal trainer who I've been going to for a year, and I've never felt better. "Working out" has many definitions. If you're doing it the wrong way, you can cause more harm than good. Proper exercise is a whole different animal from "just exercise."

Also, none of this would matter without a GOOD chiropractor (I'm lucky) and regular medical (deep tissue) massage, lots of stretching exercises (touch your toes, try not to bend the knees), get a pilates DVD, go to chiro and massage once a month, etc etc.

It's not cheap, but what does surgery cost? What is the prognosis after?

She's an avid fan of regular exercise - proper diet - etc.

Numerous Chiro visits - numerous Chiro's - not much help.

Inversion table provides temp. relief as it takes the pressure off. As soon as you've been moving around awhile - you're back to square one.

In her case - airrosti puts Chiro work to shame.

And since everyone is different, just because a chiro or trainer says you need to do X, dno't be afraid to listen to your body and suggest Y as well. I"ve had to do this to see max success with chiro and training. Same logic would apply to airrosti working better for one person than chiro, etc
