Not only do they not trust me to pull the part myself, (deal breaker) they want $75 for it. There arent too many 123s sitting in the yards around, and the ones that are here, are apparently gold plated judging from what they charged me for the spring in my combo switch, which blew up and out the window not too long ago. 75 for a junk switch. Didnt even work, and I just needed that one little spring. 75 bucks later, guy asks me if I need the rest of it. Wtf? No I said, but im taking it anyway. Just tired of these guys Trying to take advantage of a youngster. Anyways, I had no choice at the time, as this only lightly relieved my massive cab oil leak. Also coming from ignition switch, whose vacuum shutoff ceased to work a few months ago. Now I have a giant syringe hooked to my vac line to shutoff valve, so I dont have to pop the ol' hoodpiece to shut her down. laughing just thinking about it. So many kluge/kludge/klujes, so little time. At least the syringe is catching some of that oil for now.
I do not know how much you bought for $75 but this is a great forum and some members have a lot of spares lying around. They sometimes charge nothing for small parts and ship stuffs out at costs only. Some members will pull parts for you as they frequent JY often.

Enjoy your MBZ.

btw: one of my vacuum line is plugged by a golf tee. So kludging things is normal around here.

Lol @ammo box. I keep one in my trunk, and was wondering what to do with it. Thanks for making my rolling kludge machine feel welcome. I can tell you guys are gonna come in handy. On an unrelated note, one thing I can say IS in perfect working order, is the tires and brakes. They were paid for by the metropolitan museum of art in new york city. ken moore, curator in charge of musical instruments, saw to it personally. Sounds strange, right? Well it is, and that story begins with a tattered old book about stradivari that I found in a garbage pile in north carolina. Its a good story, but long and winding. I'd like tell you guys about it sometime.
