At that point, you should have ceased all discussion. We already know what we have there.

This is a guy who will listen. I don't expect him to start voting D anytime soon though.

It actually has programmed in to fire the gas motor off monthly to keep things lubricated (or such).

So in that respect I suspect it has a much bigger battery than the prius but gives away some energy by not having regen braking.

I can't IMAGINE ANY electric car without regen braking. Been on electric fork trucks for years and years. Tried and true and not very expensive to implement.

I think a large red "M" would be more appropriate. Unless, of course, said individuals watch it for entertainment............that's about all you can get from it.

Anybody who actually quotes Fox is a moron.

Anybody who characterizes people based on a news preference is likely to be a self-righteous, pigheaded, egotistical fool.

Anybody who wants to buy Volt should buy one. You want a Hummer? Go forth and pay for it.

It's a good idea IMO. I for example drive about 30 miles a day.. with a Volt the gas engine would only be used if i forgot to plug in after work.

or, according to GM, when the software decides that the electric motor needs a boost, like on an incline.

True, and I know a place where you can get a package deal that includes a hummer for about a hundred bucks, a bit more if you want a girl who's actually hot

This discussion has revealed some technical features about the Volt that GM's lame marketing has failed to get across. It's a technically interesting vehicle, but still not something I want to buy. If I had new Volt money to spend on a car, I'd probably get a late 70's to early 80's 911 in good shape instead.
