The reality is it is almost impossible to defeat someone seriously intent on bombing a plane out of the air in my opinion. Thats if they have reasonable intelligence as well as an unbalanced viewpoint of things.
The current security is more window dressing than anything else in my opinion. |

Even a dumb terrorist wouldn't try to attempt another 9/11 attack. They'd just drive up to the front entrance and detonate the car, like the Jeep Cherokee attack in Scotland a few years ago. Or have a few terrorists with suicide bomb vests hit the baggage claim in Houston or Atlanta when i9t got real real busy. Hatred can adapt itself real well, I think. The TSA is inept and reactive.
