Back to the Democrats.............

I dont think even Obama believes Netanyahu, and is well aware of his tactics.

Once again, if you believe in endless war, the cost of which will finish draining what is left of the U.S. economy, then Mitt Romney is your guy.

They would get billions of dollars from the US every year any way. Not too many countries on Earth don't.

Obama is not stupid, nor evil--just a leftist radical bent on promoting his agenda. I want to see that agenda defeated. It is a positive development to see so many powerful democrats break with Obama over his attack on Bane. Maybe the seeds of cooperation have been planted.
Politics is all about "the possible". A true-blue, dyed-in-the-wool Conservative is not possible at this time. Neither did the liberals take over the Democratic Party in a single election. They did it step by tiny step from the grass roots up. Romney is a tiny step in the right direction. He is also, the only alternative to another 4 years of President Obama. I will gladly, and proudly vote for Romney in this election. He is the only possible alternative.

Wow! VERY well said MS!

That's why in Anno Domini 2012, you still can't buy a cheeseburger in Israel: you can't mix meat and milk products on the same dish. That's the Hassidic-promoted law, and the Rebbe says so!

Okay, I can appreciate all that. The thing is though, since there is a faction there that would like to see the non Jews out of their country, but it is not happening, is evidence of their democratic ways.

I say again, in ANY other country in that region, you would be tortured or killed for many different offenses. Not so in Israel. They are the only free country in the region.

I will make my voice heard, expressing my disappointment with both the D's and R's, by voting for Gary Johnson, regardless of the likely outcome of the election overall - in essence, I'll be voting my conscience - not for the lesser of two bozos.

retmil,

I appreciate, understand and believe your reasoning that the two parties are a problem. You make that point celearly, but for this election cycle at least and for the foreseeable future, a vote for a third party is a vote thrown out the window. I've been there and done that only to contribute to the defeat of the person that I SHOULD have been voting for.

I bet you can't name a single person who said that.

I guess that depends on what you consider "left." Based on the politics I have seen in my 55 years, I'd put Obama pretty close to dead center, maybe a bit to the right.

Right. That's what the GOP's looking for, cooperation.

For almost everyone, "dead center" is when someone is in the same position as themselves. If someone is on the far left or far right wing tip, others who are in that same position SEEM TO BE in the center. It's all in your perspective.

A good case could be made that Bill Clinton moved to the center after being too far left. That's what got him a second term. B.O. is NOT in the center and is too arrogant to move there as Clinton did.

All the best

Hmm. For almost everyone. How 'bout you Larry? Are you part of "almost everyone", or is your viewpoint more focused, clear, unaffected by bias?

Obama has moved so far to the center as to be, as Honus said, a bit to the right. Why do you suppose his most radical supporters are mad at him? He hasn't closed Gitmo, he's killing civilians with drones in the ME on a nearly weekly basis, he's bowed to Wall Street, and in many other ways, in the eyes of his furthest left supporters, has let them down.
Your hatred for the man Barack Obama has completely blinded you to the record of President Obama. Barack Obama could disband the Department of Education and the IRS and start pumping oil on the White House lawn and people like you would still hate him. That's because you hate him, not his politics.

Incomplete, shallow answer, leading me to believe that you do not know much about the subject beyond what you want to believe, by simply scratching the surface.

Dig deeper...you will be amazed.

Commercial businesses can now be open on the Sabbath as well such as theaters, stores... etc. The hassidic and orthodox jews are loosing their power in Israel.

Thank you for making a perfect illustration of my point.

As long as the two main parties can keep the sheeple thinking this way, then nothing will change.

I do not hate ANYONE, most especially B.O. He's a nice guy. Good family man and overcame his self admitted "enthusiastic" drug use. He's a smooth talker. All that is well and good. If he were my neighbor I think we could be good friends if we just helped each other and didn't talk about political views.

Problem is, he entered office with ZERO executive experience. Never had even run a lemonade stand. I'm not sure if he was in business during his "enthustiac" drug use days, maybe he has more exprience running a business than he admits.

Facts are facts though. Unemployment significantly up and debt WAY up. Time for someone else to give it a shot.

It's just a Catch 22 ret. Voting for a third party right now is a waste of the gas to get to the polling place. I would like NOTHING better politically than to see a good third party candidate with a healthy chance of winning. I would donate to him and campaign for him. Problem is in today's political climate, a third party candidate is no more than something to split the ticket for political expediency.

I'm not arguing with you ret, I just am facing the cold facts. Catch 22.

Larry, Larry, Larry . . .

In the other thread, the stats on unemployment . . . which happened under the administration of a former governor of Texas, former oil executive, former major league baseball team owner . . . disproves your statement. As you say Facts are Facts.
