Sorry, no corn of mine is getting anywhere near a nukebox.

Quick and dirty: shuck it, wrap it in foil with a ton of butter and Old Bay, grill.

More time: soak, in husk, in a bucket of water for ~ half hour or more. Pull back the husk, add butter, close husk, throw on grill. Season to taste.

I wait until roasted for the butter though.

Ruin your corn just so you don't have to mess with the silks?
Tough grocery store corn grown thousands of miles away might stand up to 4 minutes in the microwave, but corn fresh out of the garden would be mush after 4 minutes. I either brush mine with olive oil and seasoning and grill it or put it in cold salty water on the stove and the minute it boils take it out, nice and crisply done.
