Never wished that happened, or worried about the vehicle.

I have noticed at age 76 this month. If I on occasion grab a quick nap during the day. I frequently have unpleasant dreams with no constants as to content. So often I no longer take a nap in the daytime.
It is so hot up on the staging today. I started at 6 am in the cool of the morning. Just too hot to stay at it in the afternoon so I take breaks. Unfortuatly I am working on the south side of the building. I could probably squeeze in a short snooze. The prospect of one of those dreams again inhibits any wish to do so. I seem on average to have no recall of any dream or of very few that probably occur in normal sleep hours. I can get by on five hours sleep a night but it catches up with me. Depends on how busy I am. I will put in a ten hour day today but only get about five hours work done. A lot of small detail stuff is just about finished. I seem to always have liked leaving the easy part where progress is fast and noticeable till last. I am just about there. It was supposed to be a little over ninety degrees today but is not going to make it . Chance of a tropical storm going through this area Thursday as well. |

Personally I would like to see Hillary made legally accountable for any crimes she may have committed. I suspect there is just a lot more than smoke in her case. At the same time I felt she may never be prosecuted or see any serious penalty. That would be a case of a double standard of justice. Nothing really new though. I used to do some contract work in prisons. By and large they are for people that are disadvantaged to start with in society. I seldom if ever met anyone in there from a reasonable financial background. Blue and white collar crimes seem to go pretty much unpunished in north American society. I still work with some kids that are probably going to land up in the prison system. The functionaries in the system are drawing good paychecks. Almost resembles a make work project. I used to get called to recommend sentences for young people. I recommended restitution be arranged for the victims if possible. The justice system really dislikes that approach unfortunately. There seems to be a substantial resistance to see any victim get any compensation for what has happened to them. Even when the means to do it are all too obvious available in many cases. For example any money acquired by Hillary in an illegal way should be returned to the victims by the courts. Instead she will be allowed to keep it with the potential of a slap on the hand. I expect she may get at worse. She probably has grafted at least 150 million dollars. Possibly a lot more. By totally illegally selling favors in her position as secretary of state. Then there are all the pointless deaths that occurred because of her issues. They mean nothing to her but she is responsible for many. She has a lot of blood on her hands. A slap on the wrist does nothing to deter future activity. In fact the kids see it as a weak system and become repeat offenders unfortunately. To look at the vast array of crimes Hillary may have committed with no penalty phase speaks volumes on the justice system. A pathetic example for society at large. People that have done far less are serving substantial time. While she walks around as free as a bird. No doubt still doing questionable things. Plus keeping all the money gained by those questionable if not criminal methods. She is at a minimum a criminal sociopath I suspect by nature. Last edited by barry12345; 07-09-2018 at 04:53 PM. |

I cannot see how my whimsical dream post morphed into a nasty political one.

Valid point. Sorry. Probably mentally tired and physically exhausted from working in the heat too much at the time. I do not mind the heat that much. It just really slows things down when the sun is hitting me as well. Every day most with not even a random cloud in the sky. First time it rained today in about a month here and cooled off. Still 80F+ degrees at sunrise. No recallable dreams when that tired and exhausted. I was up and down the staging like a monkey for days. A young wild squirrel tried to keep me company up there. Over the days he would approach closer and closer. He showed up every day and climbed the staging like a bullet to get close to me. |

Actually I considered feeding and befriending him. Unfortunatly the larger dog kills small rodents fast. I do not think it is breed specific for him but he is efficient in doing so. Yet he will not attack a cat.
So I did not want the small animal seeking me out when the dogs where home from the cottage in the fall. He might have run into the dog in the process. |

He probably thought he had found a new variation of them. You almost had to be nuts to work some of those days even when doing so intermittently. The rodent has not returned for days incidentally. I start work when the sun is no longer hitting the area I am working on. Too hard to erect a tarp as a sunshade and the winds would probably get it. I just looked at the indoor outdoor thermometer. It is still over ninety degrees F but the area I am going to work on is starting to lose the sunlight. So I will get going soon. Unless it is overcast. I am down to a four hour day. The heat wave should break soon at least. |
