it appears to have forced induction. Either a turbo or supercharger. Not factory.

The kit is actually an old school Mosselman supercharger system. Sadly Mosselman is now defunct, but due to the massive cost of these kits brand new in the '80s and early '90s very few people could justify the cost of purchase, so "yes" they are very rare. Forced induction is the way to go! They work well but could definitely benefit from intercooling. Willy Mosselman's company was in the Netherlands. It was considered reputable. At $4500 the car is an absolute bargain with that unit on there.

Cool wheels too.
The negatives I see are the shifter surround and wood condition, aftermarket speakers hacked into doors, and the cluster appears to have condensation corrosion.

Yeah that's definitely a mosselmann intake manifold, same design they used on the w124 FI kits as well
