Visa or Mastercard...

I'm thinking about dumping my Sikorsky Visa after about 8 years. Their website is very clunky and they are stuck in the 80's. For example I'm unable to pay my bill online, err well I can with my checking account at my main bank, but they have to get a check mailed to them....yeah its still 1985 their. So I'm getting a bit tired of having to go to a branch once a month, stand in line, and pay my card with cash. More so these days since its a few bucks and a royal pain.

Lets put it this way, compared to Amex's website its like going back in time.

So its time to move on, anyone have a really good Visa or Mastercard that maybe offers a good points program? I won't pay a yearly fee so any card that charges you is out.

I was thinking about going back to Cabela's because they do have a pretty good rewards program, err well crawling back since I canceled their card a few months ago thinking I was sticking with Sikorsky.

I use the Amex gold card for my little mower biz. Along with the bonus points, the reward points build up pretty quickly. I used it mostly for plane tickets.

What I like about it is the ablility to automatically categorize expenses (parts, tools, personal, etc).

I give it 5 stars.

Is Discover accepted at a lot of places? They seem to have a pretty good offer.

I use one as my business card, I can't get over how fantastic they are. But even than I run into a situation once in awhile where its not accepted and I have to use my personal Visa which is a PITA. The UI for example doesn't accept them.

I use my amex for 99% of my purchases. I have a chase "slate" card for any other purchases.. Its easy to pay, the website is very informative, and the credit line is high with a very small interest rate. No rewards however.

I dont get it. I run a junk furniture store and I accept AMEX. If someones margins are that low, they got different problems.

Discover looks like they are going to win here, they have a very good offer. Low interest rate, no fees, lots of airline miles for a reward.

I might just transfer all my auto pays over to the Discover and just keep the visa around for a few months to see if I get stuck. But hopefully not...

HSBC. With the added benefit that if you travel abroad, spread on purchases is next to zero.

My co-worker says to check out a Capital One card. Says they have pretty good rewards/benefits.

I cannot personally comment. Only carry cash, debit card, and AMEX card.
