But it sure sounds good in the Press Releases.

The first thing that jumps out at you is that for all the big numbers it has it also says that the funds will not be available unless they can be cut from another program.

So what we really have here is a Bill not to improve the Military but to destroy other programs.

Yup. You can tell this was written by a Republican.

You know, a person of character and..... Oh, forget it.
In the intervening 34 minutes between when I posted my mention of it and you posted this response of your's, I'll bet you read it!

To bad you can't muster any response to live up to the standards you espouse to others

....Stick to facts you can back up and if someone proves you wrong then you are just that much smarter!
and respond with any evidence of facts to support your claim "Romney can pretend this is nothing, but currently 67% of the voters do not agree with him." you made in another of your fables on the "Obama offers tax deal to Romney" thread!

A few weeks ago I was looking at some awards he had received and one of them was 'signed' by President Obama. I thought that was interesting, that the award was of that level, and he dismissed it with, "He's not my President."

So, after telling him he was an idiot, asked him to show me how great he would be treated under the Republicans. And he set out to do just that.

He is now a firm 'Independent' since he sees that the Republicans would put through a budget that would chop him out totally.

Yup, the more one knows about the Romney/Ryan ticket, the more one starts to wonder 'what was I thinking'?
I have a friend who is a disabled lesbian veteran of color who says Obama sucks. So there, nyahhhhhh!!

Maybe Anthony Weiner could apply for one of those jobs now that he is no longer an elected official.

Pretty much like that last election- the incumbent will be voted against is the reason for the opponents win.

Yawn........

What a boring, predictable place this has become.

My lack of ability to SHOUT at those I disagree with is....... I don't know, something I learned a long time ago in grade school?

State an opinion, relate an experience, and be attacked and called a lier. Yup, that is what passes for a 'discussion' in the Conservative Right Wing-o-Verse.

Who cares?

And as far as my reading HR 5854.... Has anyone else read it? How do you know the speed with which I read? The fact is: You don't, so you are just making things up.

But then, as a Conservative, you are used to doing so. I base that on the FACT that I have never met one yet that did not.

In the future please try and understand a Bill before you champion it. If all you know about something is what you pick up from a Press Release then you know nothing.
