Doesn't matter if you're right or left. Just views from different sides of the fence.

Well said!

BTW -- isn't every movie by its very nature propaganda ? My guess. Heck, Michael Moore must be super P.O.'d right now. He's first in line to denounce capitalism and our system of economics (at least the way it should be run), but he's also first in line to get his big, fat paycheck. And, of course, last to answer any questions about his wealth and income. Seems a little bit hypocritical if you ask me.... Let's see if the movie is a game changer. I am also surprised that Eric Holden or someone in Justice did not move to ban or block the movie as well. But he's not partisan or very selective about what DoJ pursues is he ?

Well, that is yet to be seen. Don't be surprised if Eric WithHolder DOES find a way to ban it.

Since you're talking about the substance of the movie I am guessing youve seen it. What did you think of it?

My wife took me to see it when it opened. I had my head down working long hours all summer, so I was expecting a sci-fi picture based on the 2016 title.

In actuality I found it to be pretty innocuous. The author/narrator travels to places the president lived while growing up and interviews people to understand the influences surrounding the future president. From that he develops a theory on what makes the president tick. To me it's basically a big op-ed piece, and mostly speculation. The premise is too simplistic to be taken seriously. That said, it is a fairly interesting history lesson about where and how the 44th president grew up. I suppose you could get all that same information by reading the president's book too.

Thanks Jim, that sounds like an honest and objective review!

No I'm not a big fan of party propaganda, once you have seen Triumph of the Will you have seen them all.

Ah, ah . . . Dinesh D’Souza. Why didn't you say so. The guy is way out there.

If Obama is indeed re-elected, I'll probably catch it someday if it's not too much trouble. He, D’Souza, is setting himself up for an evaluation of his prognosticism in 2016.

I wish that we could go back to the economic good ol' days of the fall of 2008, you know, just before Obama came into office and ruined the economy.
