Teleprompter idiots

So does this mean that Romney and Ryan are also idiots for using a teleprompter or can we lay that BS to rest?

You are correct. Romney is an idiot...........a very wealthy one, I might add.

Don't know a GD thing about Ryan other than he's a rabid RWNJ.

Sadly, I must vote for them.

Actually, I was referring to the idiots who always raged on Obama for using a teleprompter. All politicians use them these days. Not sure what the big deal is.

Yes, the teleprompter situation was simply another stupid example of the level that the average idiot would stoop to get a dig at Obama.

You would think that they would have much better accusations against him...............like the DEFICIT.

The criticism of Obama's use of the teleprompter was not, as you indicate, merely that he used one. As you say above, all politicians use one. Probably all public speakers use one. It is the current technology.
The criticism of Obama's use of the teleprompter was that it was excessive, and obvious--like the time he asked them to scroll it faster because he lost his place. It was his over-use, and over-reliance that allowed the criticism, and gave rise to the thought that, maybe, he was not able to speak, intelligently, without one. Its the sort of thing that Dems would have criticized Dan Quayle for doing a generation earlier.
It is also not a fundamental reason for opposing the President. There are several, far more significant matters upon which he is legitimately criticized.

Hogwash. You actually believe those emails don't you??

Have you watched any of Obama's debates? No teleprompter.
Scrolling speed?? seriously you have an issue with how fast he wants his script scrolled?? you got a problem with the color of his underwear too??

The entire teleprompter business is a perfect example of the rabid and senseless attacks made on Obama.
Criticize him all day for his actual faults, but this kind of crap is from people who don't have the brains necessary to grasp the real issues. You are too intelligent to fall into this category, and it cheapens your other more valid criticisms.

Herbert Hoover used a teleprompter in 1952 to address the RNC.

This falls into the same category as Bush not being able to pronounce nuclear... a distraction of the real issues

What's unemployment? 8.3%?
What's unemployment among Blacks? 15.0%?
Among Black teens? An astounding 38.1%

You need to really improve your reading comprehension skills. I did not say I had a problem--I said that event was what gave some the opportunity to criticize.
I compared it to the type of criticism made of Dan Quayle which was similarly superficial.
Please note that the tone of my response was calm and informative; not one of accusation. I merely reported why some had taked the opportunity to criticize the teleprompter use.
You are correct. There are many, far more important reason to oppose the current president.

My comprehension skills are just fine thank you. Memory works pretty well still too.
You did not say you had a problem(in this thread), yet you rehashed the talking points didn't you? Nice little doggie, get a treat.
Over-use... over-reliance....your words, your opinion. Unless your writing skills are less than my comprehension skills...

Obamas only debate was with McCain, not hardly fair. Obama should be thanking Allah that Newt is not the candidate because he would have wiped the floor with Barry in a debate. Romney will too, but not as awesomely as Newt would.

The post about Obamas overuse of the prompter was right on the money, and when you see the speeches where he didn't have one, you thought he was on drugs.

I imagine that somewhere in the coming debate, Gov. Romney will bet Pres. Obama, $20,000.00, since he's twice as sure as he was against Gov. Perry.
