What of checking the vacuum lines?
Try shooting WD 40 or equal around the intake manifold gaskets on the head and carb, egt valve to see if it seals a vacuum leak on any of the gaskets.
Have you looked for coolant in the radiator?
Engine compression test to determine cylinder integrity?
Or do a engine vacuum test with a vacuum gauge and see what that tells you.

have coolant have no vacuum leaks cant do a compression test ...dont have the tester...what do those run typically?? my day off i am going to take the egr valve completely off and clean it and will put a new gasket on already planned on doing that and also getting new vacuum hoses to match my plug wires and valve cover writing.....i did figure out something tho when i remove wire boots one by one whilst the engine is going cylinder 1 removed doesnt change anything but the thing behind that is i did that like 5 times and noticed that some times it changes but sometimes it doesnt change
