why only? the murder of the ambassador is one part of a much larger reaction worldwide, which includes other parts of the middle east.

yup, however, I don't believe that the security people were unarmed. I need to wait for more evidence on that apart from articles that detail a number of scenarios

instead of this post, you could have said "I was referring specifically to Libya, not to Cairo." That would have been clear, but I guess you wouldn't have been able to try and score as many points in an obnoxious manner.
