I would say the sedan is just as interesting. Note the Carrera Panamericana markings! Hm, there might be an interesting story behind that green car!
BTW, someone summon STERLNIK!

I love those Ds 19's, in wagon or sedan form. Wish they were as servicable as a 123 benz.

That'd be the hydraulic suspension being shot.

Doesn't the suspension raise when the car is started? He says it hasn't run in a long time. I thought it was pneumatic suspension? What are those lines in the rear windows, mini-blinds??
Anyone watch Castle? He drives a nice one.

Yes, car does raise when the engine runs. Hydropneumatic, like the SLS on MB wagons except all the way around I think. .

Wow, am I the only one who finds that wagon absolutely hideous?

Love the sedans, but IMO, the wagon has none of the beautiful sweeping body lines of the sedan version, and looks cobbled together.

^^ Not hideous, but not as fluid as a sedan DS. The rear bumper especially looks like a stolen highway guard rail.

Mercedes adopted their hydropneumatic suspension system for the 6.9.

The Citreon's hydraulic system operates the steering, suspension, and the brakes. If one goes, they all go.

Transmission too -- it's a hydraulically controlled four-on-the-tree with no clutch pedal and a schizoid shift pattern.
