Transmission too -- it's a hydraulically controlled four-on-the-tree with no clutch pedal and a schizoid shift pattern.
Not all of them, necessarily. I had a '65 DS19 berlina mechanique(that turned out to be too rusty to restore) that had a conventional 4 on the tree and a clutch pedal. That particular one had steering , brakes and suspension tied together.

The ID series were generally manual transmission and steering, but with hydralic suspension. I would have thought that Break was an ID, but it looks to have the Citromatique transmission.

That stereo it looks like a Super Tuner from the mid to late 1970's. I didn't see any 6"x9" speakers with the 20oz magnets though.

I love it! But admittedly I'm a sucker for obscure vehicles and wagons. Obscure wagons even more so!

Anyone watch Castle? He drives a nice one.
Castle has one like mine but mine is blue metallic.

The DS 4 door is shot but recoverable with my trove of spare parts.

The suspension and the probably the pump and spheres are shot on that car. I can see thew telltale signs of not using the proper fluid in nthe hydraulic system, which means purge of all steering, suspension and brake systems, disassemble all pieces, rebuild steering rack disc brake calipers, wheel cylinders and suspension spheres plus three accumulator s0pheres.
DIY cost: $4,000 in parts

I am always saddened when people do things like this.

Yikes! So I'd be in $7500 before even factoring in shipping it to you?
