Yeah, every once in a while Larry will post something that makes me still believe in Santa Claus.

A question for Larry. If your guy wins next week and screws up like I know he will ( because they all do ) will you admit he screwed up or will you try and spin it into, the other side caused this.

On second thought, never mind. I already know the answer.

I can understand calibration issues. That, however doesn't pass the smell test.

If Romney wins, you won't have to worry about his screw-ups. The MSM will revert to their role of watchdog instead of their current roles of cheer-leader and obscurers. Romney's successes, if there will be any, will have to be measured against what Barak would have done; not in a vacuum.

On that one, I'd tend to agree - that sounds like a one-off, someone seriously pranked that particular machine as a practical joke or stunt, to create controversy and make the evening news - it's so GD obvious, whoever had the talent to do it had to know it would be caught immediately.

OTOH, I have no reason to doubt the veracity of the story or the honesty of the person relating it - I've worked with the gent for 10 plus years, he being an assembly line supervisor in the same DTNA plant, and he's one of the most apolitical/nonpartisan people I've ever met - a true independent voter.

I thought I had responded to this yesterday, but I've been having some network issues, so I guess it didn't post.

I am NOT a Romney fan! I am simply voting for him because he is NOT the one that has been a total incompetent and driven us $6T deeper in debt and doubled the deficit. Obama had his chance and blew it. It's time to give the other guy a chance.

As far as my supporting him if he screws up? If he does something that I consider a screw up, I will be the first to be in his face about it.

The problem with what you accuse me of, is that what I consider a screw up and what YOU consider a screw up will sometimes be two different things.

If he were to INDEED start cutting entitlement spending, I would expect that you would consider that a screw up, while I would consider it the correct thing to do.

I've voted in every Presidential election since 1972 and have yet to be able to do anything except vote for the lesser of two evils.

In the case of GW as an example, I consider him to be one of the least effective presidents we ever had, although not NEARLY as ineffective as Obama. There were some things he did that I agreed with and many things that I did not. Unlike so many of you Obamagasm people, I was NOT a blind supporter of GW and I won't be of Romney either.

You might try objectivity instead of getting carried away with Obamagasms. It would be good for you.
