I've owned dozens of cars, but like you, not in the same category as Justin.
Used to be my drivers were in the $100 or less per month class...
$1000 car had to last 10 months to be considered a good purchase.
Bought a bunch just to flip, but that got kinda old, especially once the music addiction kicked in for real. Of course the audio gear I buy often costs like a used car, but will perform for decades.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my SD??

When I was walking home for lunch last week, there was a kid who must have been at the DMV getting inspected. I heard a short burst as he (ostensibly) pulled out of the lot and onto State St. then nailed it again and flew up Main before turning down the road next to our building to get on 91. Heard him getting on 91. What looked to be a pearl white A4 was packing 8 cylinders. Man, did it sound vicious. And intoxicating!

Did a little searching at lunch and found some guys putting the aluminum 8's into the A4's. Less weight than the steel block 6.

How often is she trading cars?

AMGs aren't too bad. Have had a few, and they are just a few $$$ more to maintain per year than their non AMG counterpart.

I imagine they would be more reliable so long as you didn't push them too hard as well...

Eh, I feel the same way about Audis. Don't like the idea that AWD is keeping me out of the ditch, and not my driving skills!

People ask me that, I say no Wife, no Kids, no Mortgage. What else am I going to spend money on?

Post a pic of the car, I tried to buy a CL55 the other day. A friend called me and said he coworker wanted to sell is 03 for a good price. Got there and it was an '02 N/A. He wanted good deal on a CL55K money, but wayyyyy to much for an N/A. Pretty big bummer.

Something ELSE you can't do when you're married! I have four vehicles in my sig, no AMGs, but annual tire costs are ridiculous!

Yeah, no girls have really caught my eye, and don't really plan on getting married anytime soon.
