So. Anyone else here go the flu?

I'm about to head home and go to bed. Don't know how long I'll be there but I'm fairly certain I'll be off work tomorrow.

Anybody else here go it?

- Peter.

No and you keep that crap up North.

Condolences. Rest, drink plenty of fluids and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Good excuse to laze about and catch the Barret-Jackson on the tube though.

Currently no. Just after Thanksgiving, I was laid up for four days. I'm never sick for more than a day to day and a half. I never felt bad enough to go to the doc so I don't know for sure whether I had it or not. That said, it's running rampant up this way so I got my shot this past Sunday to play it safe. It can take up to 2 weeks until you're fully protected so I'm still constantly washing and hand sanitizing. I get the shot about 1/2 the time and just figured I might as well get it.

None here, crossed fingers. Get some Tamiflu if your doc'l write it for you.
Whiskey, lemon and honey with a liberal slosh of Angostura won't help, but you won't give so much of as hit. Be well soon.

Actually I got it over the weekend when I was down in Tucson for my FIL's 70'th birthday. Half his relatives had it, now he has it and I do too. I think. Not entirely sure if is is the flu but I suspect so. I ache all over and feel like my heads going to explode.

Just about everyone in my office has had it, many of them working while sick (wtf?). I've been trying to avoid it and so far have been successful. BTW swag flu reference was to "soulja Boy" who is er...not the greatest musical prodigy to come out in, well, ever.

Had something flulike after all the kids came in for Christmas. Bad enough to pretty much stay home for two days. No flu shot this year as it seemed last few years I got it after the shot.
