Same here.

My year end review looks pretty sweet, as I was one of the few that was around to make sure things were running, and issues were resolved!

FWIW, I work for a big-soul-less corporation. With that said, the managers above me are all awesome.

Year End Review

I did my year end review in December, the week before Xmas and got a lot of Kudos and a 5K raise

I used to work for one of those, but they gave all sorts of holidays off. I work in internet retail now, and holidays are some of our biggest sales days revenue-wise so I have to be there to make that money. I'm usually not doing much anyways otherwise, guess the only thing I miss is sleeping in.

For 3 days of the week I'm self employed (private practice) and other 2 days work for someone else, so I working today. Otherwise I'd have to reschedule my appt's.

Off work and loving it I have already had a productive morning of house work and am now taking a break from working on the 240D.

Being really old and very retired I am proud to say that I have not hit a lick of work in a great number of years.

But those 55 years of work that led up to that time were rather intense.

Holidays? Uh, there's Christmas, 4th of July, Thanksgiving..... That's the only ones I can remember even thought I know there are a bunch more. I was on call 24/7 for about 40 years, so I just sort of forgot the rest of them.

I've only gotten to have Lee/Jackson Day off once. Now that I'm on the other side of the Potomac I don't think it will ever happen again.

And poo poo on anyone who doesn't think Lee/Jackson Day is 1) isn't a real holiday 2) isn't worth celebrating.
