I think a MAC address might be more costly!

Not really, on many devices you can set one yourself if you like hax0ring. Now an IPv4 block, THAT will cost you these days.

End of the month long user experience:

An iPhone fan's month with Windows Phone: Week four | Macworld

To recap: One week in, I found plenty to like about Windows Phone—more, perhaps, than I’d anticipated. After two weeks, the lack of a Notification Center substitute, system wide Siri equivalent, and effective autocorrect had me feeling frustrated with the platform. And by week three, the Lumia 920’s disappointing battery life, the weaknesses endemic to many Windows Phone apps, and the lousy native email client had pushed me past mere frustration and into out-and-out irritation.

I still really enjoy mine...no batter issues at all. But, then again, I use the charging pad and it's always sitting on it when not in use. I rigged up a small convertor and added a charging pad to the Tahoe arm rest, since that is where it resides when not in my hand on our monthly trips. Again, flawless phone, IMHO

However, it really depends on what you use the phone for...for some, this thing is awesome. Those are generally people who need the phones for work, and use Windows exclusively on their computers.

Others that love Macs, and Apple products in general, won't like them

Droid users are generally the younger crowd that like to play a lot of games and such, instead of using it for what it was originally designed for...a replacement for the PDA, flip phone, etc...so they won't switch, either.

Since the push of the latest Apple OS, there have been a number of people switching to the Window's phones...whodathunkit?

Like all of Apple devices my new 5S is flawless and very well laid out.

The Lexus of computing products for those of us who don't wish to tinker!

The other stuff is more Jag or MG like.

Well, it's a Lexus which cuts engine power whenever you try to get onto a road that's not known to the NAV system and pre-approved by Toyota.

I have been using Windows 8 for more than a year for work and recently migrated my personal line from iPhone to Android.

For productivity and balls to the walls business applications the Windows phone wins hands down, for everyday ho hum and apps use Andorid and Apple destroy Windows 8.

I find the music app that came with it to be superior to anything I've used in the past. I stream music in the vehicle and in the home via Bluetooth, so the app is used often.

I agree, the native apps to windows phone are almost flawless. The only problem I have encountered that there is no explaintion for is the phone will automatically connect the music and start playing when I enter my car which has the Microsoft Sync system. I think this is great for the average user but I carry 4 connected devices so the last thing I need is for a device to turn up my volume and start playing Blitzkrieg Bop without my explicit permission.

The Nokia 928 is my business use device and it performs almost perfectly, there is a glitch that the screen goes white and forces a restart about once a month but it's a small price to pay for a device that manages multiple calanders and 200+ emails a day while being an almost permanent hotspot at the same time! I average 15-25 gb a month.

With all of that being said it's a rock solid platform and I hope it prevails because in my experience it's the best platform for business.
