That's right "B" Mercurys are the manliest of manly men cars.

In all seriousness, though, I love the Colony Parks. There's a guy in town who owns two, and sometimes I bike by just to see them. I've contemplated inquiring about a price, but I think the owner smokes... I'm afraid that the cars would come out smelling like it too.

The third generation MR2 (Spyder) is very closely related to the Elise and arguably the best handling of the series.

Although, a little on the girly side...

I like the looks of them.

Just for the record, my remarks about Mercurys being Girly was all in fun directed to Robert who was giving me a hard time about the Miata.

(...well, they aren't THAT girly.)

After looking at the prices of the elises and the complexity of the S
2000 I am finding myself drawn to the Miata again. I spotted a 99 sport (I had one) that looks like my cup of tea for a price that could be done. This one has the sport package and comes with a hard top and lots of class appropriate minor mods. The only fly in the ointment is it is green, probably my least favorite color. Yikes!

I don't think I have ever owned a green car.

Lime green would be a negative point, but I wouldn't kick a BRG sports car out of my garage! If I had a garage that is

BRG ... with sparkles.

Get a pair of sunglasses that make the car look an acceptable color. Then work those sunglasses. You're cool. You know it.

Console yourself with the fact that dark green paint has graced the flanks of some very interesting cars:
