What are the odds.

I'll go with that.

FWIW, I got kicked out of the club on Friday night for trying to buy the go-go dancer.

Tons of fun! It's awesome because it is a hard limit when it comes to making the deal.

Cash was used at the last four vehicle sales I was a party to. However, the most expensive of those involved the exchange of 26 Benjamins for a low mile Ninja 250.

That's how we did it when we closed on this house...lots and lots of green. I could have used a certified check, but it was a lot of fun seeing the look on their faces when I unloaded the briefcase. Granted, it was roughly half of what Justin is showing, but when it's mostly $50 bills, it sure looked like a whole lot more.

My realtor told me to never do that again. LOL

no matter how it was done in the old days and the fun of bargaining with actual cash in hand, carrying around that much money and bragging about it on the interwebs is not bright, unless you are going direct to an already agreed upon deal or the deal already took place. Still, I wouldn't be posting pics of it.

Thats a lot of money than can be lost/stolen pretty freaking fast, especially when things can be done easily via banks for a nominal fee, well worth the safety.

what if you trip and drop that in a crowd? stranger things have happened.

After all, this is a public forum, your location is in your sig, and now anyone who chances across this thread knows you have money in hand, knows generally what some of your cars might look like, knows your first name, maybe your last in one of your threads, ect.

Just because money grows on trees and clearly isnt a problem for you shouldn't mean you should forget that for most people, it doesn't, and IS a problem, and for some of that group, taking it violently is a viable option. If i had that much money taped to my chest right now, you can bet the internet is the last place id be talking about it.

A house for $40k? Where!?! I need to move! LOL

I would have replied "It's my money, I'll damn well do what I please."

No one seemed to have an issue with it.
