Now we are getting down to business. Quoting you, "we shouldn't put morons in uniform with badges and guns......" For the record, there is no "we" when it comes to the hiring and firing of cops. Again, for the record, the police answer to City Council and City Council ONLY. Unless you have a seat on City Council, they don't answer to "We". "We" have absolutely NO control over their hiring, firing, back ground checks, psychological testing, training or lack thereof. OTH, "We", are the beneficiaries of all of it.
You are not receiving all the government you are paying for. I suggest you lodge a complaint and see if they give a damn.
