I think my son may be a closet hipster. Not that there's anything wrong with that. What should I do? Is it a phase? Will he get over it?

Fortunately "hipster" is a choice, despite what the terminally "hip" say. Early intervention is still your best option. Have him avoid all contact with larger Liberal Arts universities as they appear to be gathering places for these unfortunate youths.

A weekend a month sitting around fishing, swapping lies, picking guitars, sipping whiskey and family interaction will go a long way to quell any latent hipster "feelings" which may arise.

"hipsters" are all over Philly. The vast majority just ride bikes. The rest use public transportation. What am I missing?

This guy is the ultimate hipster around my neighborhood: Mercedes Motoring. I never met him but he hangs around with some of my more hipster acquaintances.
