Let's talk about HISPTERS

As much as I love the W123 wagon, I am saddened to see that it has become a hipster car. Perhaps from now on I should stick with a W124/6...

I think that the old 600 limo is essentially hipster-proof if you really want to insulate yourself...

If it didn't get under 10MPG and each hydraulic switch didn't cost $30,000, I might actually consider it. I love the styling in those!

Perhaps my next "around-the-world" car?

I currently own two on that list. Fortunately I keep the rotting head of the last hipster I hit with my car in a bag on the roof, so no hipsters are temped to come by and talk.

Hipsters don't irritate me all that much...

They just sit in the corner, smoking their cig, and (for the most part) leave me alone.

Bro's on the other hand, they irritate me. They go around starting **** for no reason at all...!

I will commend the hipster movement for bringing back whiskey based cocktails and elevating bartender craft. The downside is that they've gone overboard on the overproofed, small batch, bacon infused, barrel aged . . . everything. And what's up with bartenders having to have those old time mustaches?

Yeah, I don't really get the animosity either. They're certainly a ways down on my annoyance level list. The Jersey Shore wannabe's are all alone in the #1 spot.

My sister, the non-starving artist, has a number of "hipster" friends. They've always been real cool with me. I don't smoke but I'll slum with them and down some PBR's.

Hey, it keeps them out of the scrap yard...I think that's a good thing.
