Seems like it would be very difficult to transport it from its build location.

I would never consider going out in the open ocean it one of these boats built this way the outer skin may be 1/8" , I didn't really see if its plywood core or foam core.
The ocean could-Would devistate one of the foam core type like you see on the websites built with a wood female form and foam strips,,,, but the debri field would be floating for a 1/4 mile long.

Foam core is fine.

Lots of homemade cats running around down the islands, most of them are not very good.

While its impressive he built it, it looks like a perfect candidate to grow a reef on its bottom in some anchorage until a hurricane washes it up on the beach.
