I'm in the 50/50 camp. May be there is more than meets the eye or may be there is less than meets the eye.

The proof is in the postings, Joe. Sometimes ppl forget the past, Larry is reminding all of us as to the facts. I'm good with the truth being displayed around here.
I saw some truth displayed here recently. LB said that he apologized to everyone who didn't attack him in his dueling threads - funny thing is, he was the initial attacker in those fights - sort of like trolling for someone to heap abuse on him so he could whine about how mean people are.

It's a li'l bit strange. Sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Watch for my upcoming thread entitled: "Some of you will probably think it's funny but I had both legs severed by a commuter train today."

I'll call you "Bob" from now on. Is that OK?

I saw the postings, and I am not disagreeing with his point. What I'm saying is: "wrong time, wrong place". He just insulted all of his protagonists and yet they came back with well-wishes... then he digs up dirt on one of them and expects continued niceness? I don't think so.

Probably gives a good indication of the level of maturity of some of these protagonists.

"The protagonist interacts with theme in one of two ways: intersection or interweaving. At an intersection, the protagonist crashes head-on into the theme in a perpendicular 20-car-pile-up. The protagonist is at odds with the theme and rails against it, eventually overcoming it, overturning it, or succumbing to it and proving it out. Or, the protagonist and theme are interwoven together, wherein each reflects the other."

~ just for those not smart enough to work it out!
If he had started a thread about his wife's diagnosis w/o the 'jubilant' part, I'm certain he would have gotten well wishes and nothing else. But he doesn't want peace, doesn't want camaraderie, he wants the feud, he wants fighting, he wants contention. Reminds me of two leading luminaries in his approx. political cohort: Limbaugh and Hannity. The feud is those guys' daily bread.

Only when he's swimming, at home please call him Matt.

Unless he's leaning on the wall, then he's Art
and if the house catches fire, call him Bernie.
