Thats what I thought too. I think we often times take what we read on here way too personal, literal and serious. I bet you dollars to donuts if the lot of us were to meet up and hang out we'd get along just fine. That goes for Larry too.

THAT day was a LONG time ago. There are a FEW that are concerned about $17T in debt and rapidly growing, but the vast majority don't care. They just want their free stuff and could care less what the consequences for the nation might be.

Seriously, can anyone say with a straight face that any recently elected official is the best person for the job given that the only "winners" are pre-selected in a process that is not open to competition? Do you honestly think that GWB could have been elected Dog Catcher in many towns across the US in a fair and open competition?

Our elections are open to competition, but no one who is honest could ever compete. Who could win a vote from fifty percent telling the people that the best thing for them self and the nation is to go get a job and not rely on the government for everything.
