Its always a worry if its cancer but it sounds like the best outcome possible with it being so. Very good outcome it sounds!

I will pray and hope for the best for her, if you had to get some bad news at least it there was some good news in there also having been detected at an early stage.

My father had a localized tumor like this and lived to be almost 91. They discovered it at 83. Medical science is more advanced than when this happened to him.

Early detection is very important and it looks like you got it.

Prognosis is good! Be optimistic and try to transmit optimism to her!

x2 to all above! this is very very lucky and excellent that it was caught at such an early stage. The state of the art for cancer care has been improving leaps and bounds, so them being able to zap it at this stage is great to immediately get rid of it, AND, will put you and your wife on guard for the future making sure any recurrence is identified and eliminated.

just because it is malignant does not mean this is not good news. The absolute worst thing is when cancer progression is not caught or noticed until much too late, you are in a good position here.

It is really nothing at this point which is probably the best prognosis you can get. I will take treatable with some checking every 6 months over "you have stage 4" every day. As I said, it is treatable, life is good.
