To her credit, Darling Wife isn't swayed by shiny trinkets or cut flowers. The occasional unexpected chocolate treat will bring a smile. No good for apologies, however.

Apologies have been made, and I'm off the list.

Now to figure out how in the heck to get blood sugars under control (massive crashes now and again (that result in my getting grumpy and irrational) that a small army of doc's haven't figured out the cause of).

I ended up there once- when I forgot my first wedding anniversary. Needless to say, I didn't make it to the second.

I don't have to worry about it anymore either- no wife, no kids, no partners, and no debts.

I am hypoglycemic. It is not easy to diagnose apparently as your blood sugar may look normal, but If its too low you get grumpy and sortof irrational, or sleepy or all of the above. I always have a snack mid morning and mid afternoon. Usually a banana. I just finished one with peanut butter.....crunchy...yum!

My Mrs is diabetic now so she can get pretty gumpy around meal time too so sometimes it gets a little dodgy around here!

Been there, but the other way around.

She screwed up on the 1st, she wanted it too soon (by 4 days) and it took a trip to the basement and looking through a few boxes to pull up the evidence to convince her.

Did I get an apology? Hell, I was just happy to get to sleep, finally, at 0345 in the morning in order to get up at 0600 to be at work at 0700.

Made it to 24 yrs., 3 months, 14 days...before financial freedom answered my knocks on its door.

First marriage lasted about 6 years with last one or two separated. Present marriage 37 years and counting. I think this one may work out!

some suggestions: I have dropped my A1c tests a ton by the following:

1-2 tbsp. coconut oil daily
very low carb hi protein and high fiber diet

IXNAY on: all bread products, bananas, potatoes, pasta, tortillas, any kind of chips or processed snacks. And of course, NO sweetners of any kind.

I still drink all the beer I want and am having great results.
