The NYT wrote it's just "random violence". Other news outlets took the story and decided that's all it is. MSNBC today ran with that story and had a black lady on saying it's not hate crime but whites are just looking to blame blacks because that what they do. This appears to have further information which shows its race based violence- all black assailants on what appears to them to be white victims.
