Back to the comments he made about the Commander in Chief. As this fellow is currently serving in the US Navy Reserve and hold an Officer's rank he is held to a higher standard than your average man on the street. The military has rather strict rules about this.

Reserve officers not on active duty are under fewer rules than active duty officers.

IMO, all officers (active, reserve, retired) should STFU and stay away from criticizing the CinC. I'd also like flag officers be prevented from serving in elected office.

To me, the greatest single internal threat to democracy is the military.
