The thing I miss the most about living in Georgia is Waffle House.

I once rode all the way to Folsom (108 miles each way) to get Chick Fil A. It was worth it.

We had a Schlotzsky's in Carson when I moved here, and it was good, but it went under. The building is now a Starbucks.

Krystal=White Castle with less clean stores and slower service.

Whataburger is nothing special. In N Out could beat it with half its menu tied behind its back just to make it fair.

We had a Zaxby's open in my home town while I was in college. I ate there when it first opened, and they screwed my order up. I figured it was because they were new and went back a few months later. They still screwed my order up. I waited a few more months and tried them again. Same result. After about the fourth time I stopped going.

Its REALLY simple. If you don't like Waffle House, or Mickey Dees, or anyplace, just do not patronize them. Exercise your right to buy from whom you wish to buy, and refrain from supporting those you don't like.

Skippy, I just had a quick look and it would seem that all the Waffle House restaurants in AZ are in Phoenix and points south. I would think that they'd do well further up north.

Thats also happened here. Although I think one might still be around since the KK displays are still stocked everyday at the gas stations with "fresh" donuts.

Dunkins around here closed many, many years ago but they are slowly coming back. I think this method works best, a new store every couple years versus the open 5 locations in just as many months in a part of a state.

Difficulty with the concept of 'all things in moderation'? Probably because the people who use the phrase use it incorrectly or you do not understand the context of the original postulate. Perhaps a brief sojourn into Aristotle might help?

Poisoning people and calling the poison food is not excusable, sorry. If people knew what they were getting they probably wouldn't. Marketing poison to children is doubly inexcusable. Exploiting addiction as a marketing tool is again, inexcusable.

Define "poison" so that we can be sure we are on the same page.

For example, sometimes people who are vegetarian believe that animal flesh is poison. Or sometimes reef fish absorb so much toxin from their diet that consumption of the reef fish will cause distress or fatality in the consumer.

Sonic keeps trying to open around here but their food is horrible and there outside focused eating doesn't work here for half of the year.
