"i"?

Why is everything "i" now? Are marketing companies trying to rip off Apple?

Its getting annoying, I think I'm going to go take an iCrap.

BMW is even getting in on it with their i8!

It appeals to the me-first generation of people who feel they are entitled to receive some free benefit from society for their very existence.

Actually, BMW is responsible for starting that trend, as they introduced the iDrive in 2001. Maybe they should be suing Apple for ripping them off, particularly since the original release was based on a heavily-massaged version of Windows CE.

Its all Isaac Asimov's fault. He wrote "I, Robot" in 1950.

It shows the self-realization that consumers get through such a personally-oriented brand and image. Such self-centrism drives product value and utilization, developing a relationship with the product and brand more easily than a less personal brand name. It allows consumers to easily adapt the product into their lifestyles.

That's what I would say in a board meeting at least. I think it's a stupid trend. "M" implies mobile and "e" implies Eco-friendly.

iParty was founded in 1998.
