No, Ruger does have a long gun chambered for 9mm it's their PC9 carbine. Same gun was available in .40 S&W as the PC4. Both have been discontinued for awhile I'm pretty sure.

Nothing. If "Merka" would make enough to meet demand.

It was early. I meant the PC. The mini is .223, natch.

Kinda retired the 22 mag for now. No ammo. I get a few boxes of 22 here and there. 22 just doesn't do it for me. I still use it to empty the trap.

I am shooting shotguns for now. 410 has been my daily driver. Just pulled out the 870 and 11-87s. I'm gonna pattern some 000 buckshot. That oughta make my ears ring. Yes, I do wear hearing protection when possible.

It won't just make your ears ring for a bit. It'll make them ring forever. I'm paying the price now for a youth full of unprotected shooting. Hearing loss and tinnitus. No fun. I might fire a weapon without ear protection at somebody busting through the door, but otherwise... no way.

I am thinking that even with protection 000 buckshot will rattle the teeth in my head. Each pellet is a .36 caliber ball.

I am big on safety gear in all pursuits.

My hearing took a beating from the wind whistling through motorcycle helmets when I was younger. I especially need to conserve what is left of my hearing.

The only times I shoot without protection is the occasional guinea/chicken alert and I grab a gun and get a shot at a predator.

I've found Surefire EP4 Sonic Defenders worn under a good set of headphones is the best combination when I need something extra.

I final found 9mm at wal mart. Got three boxes even through there was no limit(I think they should stick to the limit). No 22lr but that's still limited to three boxes. Last time I bought 22 at Walmart was 8 months ago. All of the damn old guys with nothing else better to do than camp out and hound the sporting a good dept people buy it all up and resell it at gun shows for two or three times the price. Pisses me off to no end.

I was there yesterday. I always check the ammo case looking for primers and the odd pound of powder. Surprisingly they had 3 different makes of .45 auto, lots of .40 and unsurprisingly; no 9mm. No .22 either IIRC.
Ammo was going begging at the last gun show I attended. Prices were so stupid nobody was buying.

9mm is plentiful here. I'm finding 100rd white boxes for $26 at Walmart every time I visit. I'm to well over 1200 rds of it now, which should last me about 3 months. I'll stop buying when I have a 6 month stock.

As for the .410...I'm still trying to understand why it's more expensive than 12ga.

I have a few friends that have collected the needed shotguns to make more of these...all are .410. Looks like there may be a small blip in .410 ammo sales once I get them done and back to their owners.

The bricks I bought were Mexican. No hang fires or misfires thus far. Cycles through my autoloader.

Cost $75.
