The Mercedes of Windshield Wiper Systems

Haven't you always wanted to reduce wiper fluid consumption by 50%?

I shudder to think what the cost of a pair of replacement blades will be. Not gonna find those puppies at the local McPart. Maybe they will design it to replace the rubber squeegee only. Of course I'm not too concerned as I won't be buying a current model MB any time soon!

something similar on my 1969 Corvette. The squirt nozzle was incorporated with the wiper arm, not the blade. Worked great and would work now without the overly complicated MB system.

The blade looked standard to me. I thought the water was coming out of the arm. My concerned would be if it clogs up.

And I thought the $33 wiper-blades on my friends new Mustang were expensive. I'm afraid I'll just have to continue suffering the torture of those primitive old-school washer-nozzles on my current rides.

SL owners are a different sort of owner. Most wouldn't be caught dead driving in snow or rain, or past Labor Day . . .

I think that's pretty nifty. My bet is that the jets are part of the arm, separate from the wiper. My guess is that the freezing bit isn't that big of a deal as long as you use the stuff that works down below freezing.

I wonder if they are heated. hmm.

hmm - so they basically glorified the wipers a basic chevy impala has. It has nozzles on the arms that spray water as it sweeps.

To me it does look like the nozzles are spread across the wiper blade itself.
Nevertheless, it's another over-complicated 'improvement'.

Especially with wiper-blade manufacturers insisting we change the blades 'for safety' every year, or even every six months! It better save a swimming-pool full of washer fluid!

The FWD impalas have nozzles on the wiper arm - so when you activate the washers the fluid is sprayed out on the screen as the wiper sweeps. Its not as high tech as this, its just one nozzle spraying liquid which wets the glass.
