New Polling

This is interesting. Wonder how many on the left are included.

However, as with most Obama narratives, reality has caught up. A new poll from Fox News finds that most Americans view George W. Bush as more competent than Barack Obama.
That’s Gotta Hurt: New Poll Shows Americans Believe George W. Bush Is More Competent Than Obama

I couldn't find anything on MJ or Salon.

The Gallup Poll shows Obama currently at 44% approval rating. At this same point in his time in office Bush was at 37%.

The current poll referenced above does show that Republican attempts at rehabing Bush's time in office are working. If they can keep this up they will be able to admit that Bush was President for eight years and be able to stop carrying on about how he was not a real Conservative.

Must have been asked in a blue collar area around 5:30 pm. The one taken at the govt. handout office showed a 95% in favor of the administration.

It's early and the coffee's not ready, but I read your link twice and have to ask, what poll? There's no mention in the article of who conducted it, nor is there any link to it.

There was another recent poll that discloses that average Americans think they're smarter than the average American

A humble 34 percent of citizens say they are about as smart as everyone else, while a dispirited 4 percent say they are less intelligent than most people.

Anderson Robbins Research and Shaw & Company Research are credited with conducting the poll, but neither posts any of particulars about how it was run.

I did find numerous reports from both sides of the political spectrum which found fault with polls conducted by this team in the past.

Likely I spent more time researching them than they did conducting the poll.

I'll bet $5 that the sample size is less than 1000 and it was conducted by telephone.
