Unfortunately true.
That's one of the reasons I never trust polls, regardless of which side they favor.
Another big reason is that I truly don't GAS what people think....

I did find numerous reports from both sides of the political spectrum which found fault with polls conducted by this team in the past.

Likely I spent more time researching them than they did conducting the poll.

The Fox News Poll is conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R). The poll was conducted by telephone with live interviewers June 1-3, 2014 among a random national sample of 1,006 registered voters (RV). Results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points. Landline and cell phone telephone numbers were randomly selected for inclusion in the survey using a probability proportionate to size method, which means that phone numbers for each state are proportional to the number of voters in each state. Results are of registered voters, unless otherwise noted. LV = likely voters Results from Fox News polls before February 2011 were conducted by Opinion Dynamics Corp.

That high ? More like barely 40%.

Comparing Bush against Obama. Bush got hammered with 9/11 and Katrina, and a few other issues which the LWNJs claim he "knew" in advance of these issues. Obama got elected on a platform which centered on his complaining about these events and their results or how they were handled. Sounds fair to me.

I would say at this point they are in a dead tie, however, Obama has two more years to hopefully clean up his act. So far, blaming Bush for everything got him into office but it also caused Obama's party to lose control of the House and most likely the Senate in November. So, control of the Congress when Obama took office to perhaps no control. Great Success there.

Don't overestimate the community organizer ... he has two more years and that's a lot of time for bigger and better scandals. Right now, Obama has virtually no credibility, you know "You can keep your doctor.Period." and "not a smidge" ... and the list goes on. Not a very honest person and the public and media is no longer looking the other way. Obama will always have his voter base no matter what, but a few trillion here or there should buy some loyal votes.

It's why they are called "polls" and not "enumerations".

A good poll will have 95% confidence limits and sample size reported. Analysis is usually done by some sort of resampling method. They're only as accurate as the questions asked.

Well, if GWB ever runs for president against BHO, this poll could be a game changer.

Only if you regularly refer to people only by their middle names
