I'll bet the driver of the Mustang either didn't have insurance, was driving on a revoked license, or was impaired.

The top three reasons for leaving the scene....

I got the name and address of the previous owner from the title. I emailed him about the car and had a nice conversation back and forth. He upgraded the shocks, lowered the springs 1" and put on new sway bars. He is tickled I plan to autocross it.

This weekend. ...or next.

I may raise it up a bit.

I ran it yesterday. It was a good course which was easy to learn and not too fast. I used first and second gears. I don't have results yet but I ran fairly well I think.

I parked next to a BRG 99 with a black hard top and some body damage. I had one with all those items and sold it along a few years back. Its a great little car.

I started with about 28 psi in the tires. I eventually went down to 16 rear and 18 front. It didn't seem to make a lot of difference but the last run I could feel sidewall roll over though not sure which tire or tires it was. I'll probably put some more air in them now.

Late in the day a check engine light came on.

I'm just jealous that when most guys your age buy a Ford, it's usually a Crown Victoria...

I feel lucky to be able to climb in and out of it. I am working on getting my seat to fit and to make it possible to push one pedal at a time. It is a nice car with minimal changes from its original configurations.
