Its cool but overly expensive. Thats the thing, customized cars appeal to the owner and only a small handful of people. Very rarely do you get your money back and even less, make a profit. You had better be named Foose or the likes of, and have an award winning car and thats still unlikely.

I happen to really love the E30 M3, one of my favorite cars of all time. They are getting thinner by the day. I love the S14 engine they came with! The more you rev it, the more it loves you! I happen to know a very nice gentleman that has a very nice, all original example, he has my phone number! I actually did most all of the maintenance on his car since he's owned it, and the previous owner. I hope he calls me someday!

I seem to recall seeing a thread a while ago about a build like this (could have been this build). Tons of pics on a very very extensive build.

Seems like a very cool car and I bet its a blast to drive but I agree that $225k is a bit over the top.

It would cost that much to do but to me its the answer to the question that nobody is asking. Can I buy a X year old car with everything changed so it will be way too fast to ever drive on the street? To me better if you want to go very fast, to buy a simple even crude car and autocross or track it. Have a normal car to drive on the street....now if I had millions I might bite.

As wild and awesome that build is, I still prefer the E30 M3 with the Evo motor because of its symbolic status.
