Either spelling is OK. I see a lot of scripts and both spellings are used.

Why I don't know. You would think the publisher would have worked it out by now.

See my response above.

And..... Are you in show business? If not then get your feet off the stage.

Great Britain is the name of the island on which the countries of England, Scotland, and Wales reside. The United Kingdom is a sovereign state comprised of these countries plus Northern Ireland and many smaller islands. So GB refers to geography and UK to the political organization. That said, people tend to use GB or just Britain to refer to the government as well. So the context in which the term is used is important.
Spot on.

According to Woody Harrelson, the only 2 good things that came out of there was America and The Beatles. I am inclined to agree.
I can think of a few more things. Led Zeppelin, The Who, Dr. Who, Black Sabbath, The Rolling Stones, the Rolls-Royce Merlin and the Spitfire it powered, the Jaguar E-type, the MGB, the Triumph Spitfire and TR6, Lotus, Triumph motorcycles, Norton motorcycles, BSA motorcycles, and Vincent motorcycles all come to mind. Oh, and the brown sauce, even though the most popular brand is actually made in Holland.

It's a little like ketchup, but with some other things added in.

Occasionally we all get to brag about one of your kids.....lord knows after all they put us through while growing up....it's hard to imagine they've turned out as you'd hoped.

So here's my brag. My daughter went to school in Scotland, St. Andrews University, as in St. Andrews the golf course. And appropriately after graduating last year, took a job with the British Embassy in Wash. DC, to continue her all things British quest. Anyway, I'm looking at her two-sided business card and in very large letters against a bright red background are the words "GREAT" and in smaller letters below it the word Britain. So the Brits still think they are Great and they even put it on their business cards.

Now as far as the Scots go, don't call them British.....but that's a whole nother thread to start isn't it Stretch??

I'm not British either. I'm English.

Our family was very disappointed when the Scottish voted to stay. We were all hoping we could send my sister's bloke back to where he came from...
